Francesca Amorosi: Occupational Therapist

Days available: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Francesca graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2022 from the University of Sydney. Francesca has completed clinical placements in Hospital Acute Care and Rehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation, Mental Health and Paediatrics in rural areas. Francesca has been working in Paediatrics since graduating.

Francesca is passionate about nature, including the ocean and animals, and she previously worked as a zoologist in Australia and overseas (her specialties were the wolf and microbat). She also worked for Assistance Dogs Australia as a dog trainer. As a result, she has experienced first-hand the benefits of the outdoors, nature and animal-human interaction.

Francesca has been interested in working with children from a young age and has worked as an environmental educator for fifteen years in school and outdoor settings. In addition, she has volunteered for equine and canine therapy organisations assisting children. She then decided that by working as an Occupational Therapist, she could combine all her passions and expertise. So, Francesca went back to study and became an Occupational Therapist.
