Haylee McDonell: Occupational Therapist

Hours available: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 


Haylee completed her bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2017. Haylee’s passion to make a difference in the lives of children and families of children with a disability has led her to fulfil a position at Unique Kids Clinic. 

Haylee’s experience is predominately in paediatrics’ working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Global developmental Delay and neurodevelopmental disorders. Whilst working with Unique Kids Clinic Haylee has been involved in the Sense Rugby program and Camp Connect. 

Haylee believes in client and family centre practice and will devote time to coordinate with families, schools and other health professionals in order to achieve maximum potential for the child. 

Haylee has completed her training in the following areas:

  • Introduction to the BrainWorks Approach for Effective Sensory Diets (Gwen Wild, OTR/L)

  • Developing and Implementing Effective Sensory Diets for Children and Teens (Gwen Wild, OTR/L)

Since graduating Haylee has been dedicated to further developing her skills and knowledge in child development, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing, and physical disability to provide evidence-based therapy and interventions to each and every child.
