Claire Scanlon: Occupational Therapist

Claire graduated from The University of Sydney with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2015. Claire has a background in Psychology, having graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from The University of Wollongong in 2012.

While completing her university studies, Claire worked as a Play Therapist with children on the Autism Spectrum, volunteered at Camp Connect and spent 2 years working as a Diversional Therapist with adults struggling with mental illness.

Since graduating from her Occupational Therapy studies, she has worked predominantly in the paediatric field in home, school and clinic settings. Using a play-based approach, Claire enjoys working with children and their families to improve their sensory processing, emotional regulation, social skills and motor skills.
